Pneumatic Valve Silencers

The silencers produced by Copor are manufactured using sintered medium-grain powders and are ISO 9001 certified. Quality is guaranteed through the control of raw materials and manufacturing phases, with particular attention paid to the finished product. Sintered bronze silencersmetallic silencers, and sintered steel silencersFilter elements for noise reduction manufactured using high-quality raw materials such as stainless steel and bronze.

Sintered stainless steel silencers, bronze silencers and plastic silencers

Silencers are necessary devices used to reduce noise levels during the operation of a pneumatic system and to muffle the compressed air exhaust into the environment. They can be made from various materials such as stainless steelbronze, and plastic, and they reduce the noise generated by valves during operation. Technological evolution and new market demands have led to the development of new types of silencers with plastic fittings, which can guarantee the same performance in terms of noise reduction, but with a significantly lower specific weight and unit cost.

Sintered silencers are one of the flagship products manufactured by Copor Srl. They consist of a nipple, which can be made of brasscopper-plated steel, or bronze, and a filtering part made of sintered spherical bronze with filtration grades ranging from 5 μm to 120 μm. These types of silencers are primarily suitable for industrial pneumatic automation applications.

Copor Srl has achieved UNI EN ISO 9001 certification, which guarantees certified manufacturing quality ensured by the raw materials used, the procedures adopted, and the meticulous inspections performed.

Some typical applications for this type of pneumatic silencers

– Noise reduction in pneumatic systems

– Construction of automatic machinery in general

– Silencing heavy-duty applications, such as in the metallurgical or glass industries

– Ensuring the safety of pneumatic equipment

– Exhaust silencing into the atmosphere for pneumatic valves and cylinders
